On Saturday, April 04, 2009, at The Indian River College Anne Wilder Aquatic Complex, The Katy Foundation, with the cooperation of community organizations and public safety agencies, will be facilitating April Pools Day.
This event will feature a number of local public service agencies, health and safety professionals and local pool/water safety vendors, all in one place, for the purpose of bringing the water safety message to the Treasure Coast community. We hope to have Water Safety crash courses to increase awareness and swimming instructors to demonstrate good examples of water safety and responsible swimming instruction and answer your questions about learning to swim.
If you would like to be involved as a presenter, vendor, water safety instructor, or volunteer, please give us call at 772-465-1515 or leave us an e-mail (staff@katyfund.org) with your name, what you would like to do and a contact number, so we can get back with you. Donations will be accepted to be a vendor in the event (Non-profits are free). All proceeds will go toward the Katy Foundation awareness programs and Scholarship Fund.
Come out on April 04, 2009, and be a part of a fantastic and worthwhile event on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast (St. Lucie County), Fort Pierce, Florida.
