Half way through the year, Santa needed some time away from the North Pole.  Santa is taking his summertime vacation RIGHT HERE in Florida!!  Santa, in his Bermuda Shorts, Tropical Shirt, and Flip-flops, will be delivering the toys, games, and activities collected last Christmas and at the Bug Bash and Summer Splashtacular to children’s departments and children in various area hospitals.  These gifts are to assist the children and their families in recovering from various medical and traumatic episodes.  The hospitals reply on such items to help the patients and their families pass the time, have fun and most importantly, in many situations, to assist in rehabilitation and treatment.
